Well Project

Project Description

Join us in our mission to provide access to clean water to communities in need and help create a brighter future for all.

Donating to provide clean water to communities in need is a way to make a tangible and life-changing impact. Lack of access to clean water affects millions of people worldwide and can lead to serious health issues, including disease and malnutrition. By supporting our water aid programs, you can help bring clean, safe water to those who desperately need it and give them the chance to live healthier and more productive lives.  Your clean water sponsorship also provides masajids with water for wudu during periods of water rationing in different parts of the country.

Since its inception in 2024, AtTayeb has built many clean water wells that are providing free clean water to masajids, poor and needy people in the remote communities of Ghana. You can donate to a well with a long-lasting reward. Please donate water wells on behalf of your parents and loved ones.

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, “When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased).” [Hadith, Sahih Muslim]

PROVIDE CLEAN DRINKING WATER

The best form of Sadaqa (Charity) in Islam for Muslims is to donate to build a water well or water pump which will provide clean water to the poor and needy of the Ummah. This is extremely rewarding deed because it’s a form of sadaqa al jariyah (continuing source of reward) for yourself or your loved ones, who is still alive or has returned to Allah.

  • 1. The Prophet (AS) said that ‘The best form of charity is to give someone water (to drink).’ (Ibn Majah)
  • 2. Set-up a sadaqah jaariyah (form of continuous charity) for yourself or a loved one, alive or otherwise.
  • 3. Your donation of the water well will be helping 100s of families access to clean water.
  • 4. Get reward as long as someone is benefitting from the water source.
