Education

Quran Distribution & Dawah Project

Bringing the light of the Qur’an to underserved communities across West Africa — and sustaining the teachers who carry it.

Bring the Light of the Qur’an to Those Who Need It Most

Islam places great emphasis on knowledge and education. The Qur’an repeatedly encourages the pursuit of wisdom and understanding for all people, regardless of gender, age, or social status:

“Read in the name of your Lord who created.”
(Qur’an 96:1)

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ reinforced this guidance, declaring the acquisition of knowledge a duty for every Muslim, and encouraging lifelong learning as a means of personal and societal development.

Our Mission

The Quran Distribution & Dawah Project aims to bring the light of the Qur’an and the knowledge of Islam to underserved communities across West Africa. Many Muslims living in remote regions have limited access to religious education and struggle to afford even modest fees for sustaining teaching programs.

Through this project, we work to:

  • Distribute Qur’ans and prayer materials to children, families, and communities who otherwise would not have access
  • Provide free Quranic and Islamic education through qualified teachers
  • Support teachers with fair compensation, allowing them to continue their vital work in challenging conditions
  • Keep Quran classes accessible, ensuring financial hardship never prevents anyone from learning

Why Your Support Matters

Without proper guidance, generations miss the opportunity to connect deeply with their faith. Local Quran teachers dedicate their lives to teaching memorization, Arabic, and Quranic sciences, yet many struggle to meet basic living needs. Your support ensures that:

  • Children and adults in remote areas can learn, memorize, and understand the Qur’an
  • Communities gain access to lifelong spiritual guidance and education
  • Qualified teachers are sustainably supported, preserving high standards of learning
  • The light of knowledge spreads, creating lasting impact for generations

“The best of you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari & Sahih Muslim)

The Urgency

Every day without access to Quranic education is a lost opportunity to strengthen faith and nurture the soul. Many children and adults in underserved villages cannot afford Qur’ans or classes, and the risk is that generations may grow up disconnected from the guidance and mercy of Allah (SWT).

Imagine the joy of a child holding their first Qur’an, the pride of a parent witnessing their child’s growth in faith, and the ripple effect of knowledge transforming an entire community. Your support makes this possible — and the reward is immense in both this life and the Hereafter.

How You Can Make a Difference

  • Sponsor Quran teachers for a year, ensuring continuous, high-quality education
  • Donate Qur’ans and prayer materials to underserved communities
  • Support minority Muslim communities in accessing Islamic knowledge
  • Establish Sadaqah Jariyah, a continuous source of reward, through the gift of learning

“Whoever guides someone to goodness will have a reward like the one who did it.”
(Sahih Muslim)

With your generosity, the light of the Qur’an can reach hearts that are waiting. Act now — empower minds, uplift spirits, and transform communities through knowledge and faith.

Be a source of mercy

Your generosity becomes their nourishment

When you support a widow or an orphan for the sake of Allah, you earn great reward and help uplift families and communities — by the will of Allah.
