Project Description

Harbi Orphan Project helps change the lives of orphans in the most deprived areas of the world. With the help of generous donors like you, we can ensure that these beautiful children receive shelter, food, education, healthcare, medical support, and the love they deserve in a desperate circumstance. Our team who also live on site ensures that the children under our care will grow and develop in their confidence over time and have a chance for a better and brighter future.

The reality of poverty is a daily burden for majority of the widows in the region we serve. Imagine what it would be like for an orphan child. Where would they sleep? What would they eat? Who would look after them if they were to fall ill. We must help them. With no one to turn to and often with no place to go, vulnerable orphans need support. This is where the Harbi Orphan Project comes in. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for these orphans, where they can receive the education and support, they need to have a bright future. We believe that every orphan deserves a chance to live a happy and fulfilling life.

Why Sponsor an Orphan?

What do your children mean to you? And how would you feel if you couldn’t be there to love, guide and protect them? There are an estimated 200 million children worldwide that have experienced this loss. Many of these children will come from already disadvantaged backgrounds. So, losing a parent can mean that access to education, the protection of shelter, the sustenance of nutritious meals and the chance for a secure future all become an impossible dream. This is why the responsibility of care for the orphan falls on all of us. Who could be more deserving of our help than the child who has no one?

“Whoever takes care of an orphan, he and I will be together in Paradise like this (his index and middle fingers held close together” Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

PROCESS AFTER A CHILD IS CHOSEN FOR SPONSORSHIP

You will receive a Child Sponsorship Welcome Email after the first donation is processed. You will also receive quarterly updates through our donor portal. You are also given the opportunity to communicate with your child directly on a regular basis.

The prophet (PBUH) said “ I and the ones who looks after an orphan will be like this in paradise; showing his middle and index finger and separating them (Bukhari).

*While we strive to provide quarterly updates from our orphans to all sponsors, there may be occasional delays in obtaining updates due to unforeseen circumstances or challenges in remote regions. We appreciate your understanding and patience.
